We are a 2200 acre farm operations comprised of small grains and sugar beets. We use older model case and John Deere equipment and have older Kenworth semis for trucking. Job duties include; apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; construct facilities and structures to support plant growth, direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; feel plants/crops leaves and note coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease; guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; hand pick and manually grade crops; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; identify plants, crops, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; inform farm managers of plants or crops progress; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; maintain inventory; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery;

participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; regulate conditions, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, box sorting equipment, bailers and other hay equipment, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, skid steers, sprayers, spreaders, straight frame trucks, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: hay, soybeans, sugar beets, wheat. Must speak and understand English.

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
