Job Title: Laboratory Research Operations Specialist Department: Engineering | Integrated Systems Engineering

The College of Engineering, Department of Integrated Systems Engineering is seeking a Laboratory Research Operations Specialist.

This position provide s overall support to the Center for Industrial Metal Forming (CIMF) and is responsible for :

  • Actively e ngaging in industry member recruitment across various sectors, including automotive, defense & aerospace, and biomedical

  • Assisting in the development of CIMF marketing materials

  • Contributing to the creation of the Centers roadmap

  • Coordinating with Industry Liaison Offic es at each CIMF Research Site

  • Supporting CIMF Sites and IAB Chairs

  • Preparing and submitting a quarterly report to the Center Director

  • This is a temporary, part-time position.

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field

Desired Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on manufacturing

Desired Experience:

At least 2 0 years of experience in Metal Forming processes, forging, and related metalworking fields.

OSU experience strongly desired.

Additional Information: Location: Baker Systems Engineering (0280) Position Type: Temporary (Fixed Term) Scheduled Hours: 20 Shift: First Shift
