CNC Operator**

**Job Description**

Manufacturer specializing in high-precision powdered metal components.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up and operate CNC milling machines to machine metal parts according to blueprints and work instructions.

+ Load raw materials and monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

+ Adjust machine settings and tool offsets to maintain tight tolerances.

+ Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

+ Perform routine maintenance on machines.

+ Maintain accurate production records and report deviations or defects.

+ Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in Production and CNC operations.

+ Proficiency in machine operation, blueprint reading, and use of hand tools.

+ Knowledge of using calipers, micrometers, and inspection tools.

+ Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in powdered metal manufacturing.

+ Experience in manufacturing or production environments.

**Work Environment:**

Work in a manufacturing/machine shop setting that is climate-controlled yet loud and dusty.

Positions are available for the

+ 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 7:45 am - 4:15 pm)

+ 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 3:45 pm - 12:15 am).

+ 3rd Shift: Monday - Friday (11:45pm-9:15am)

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DuBois, Pennsylvania.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
