Deburring Technician / Shop Assistant

Join Our Team as a Deburring Technician / Metal Finisher

As a Deburring Technician / Metal Finisher, you will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform deburring and finishing operations on metal parts
• Review and understand deburr callouts on blueprints, work instructions and/or sample parts
• Verify conformance of finished work to spec, using precision measuring instruments
• Use hand held deburring tools equipped with burr tools to remove light to heavy burrs
• Use grinding equipment with various types of grinding wheels and abrasive wheels to remove burrs. Remove and replace wheels when worn or defective
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• Experience with Deburring Close Tolerance 
• Ability to use basic hand tooling
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and other inspection gauges
• Ability to do repetitive work
• Mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity
• Knowledge of basic mathematical skills 
• Works independently, follows instruction and can concentrate for longer stretches of time
• Ability to communicate information clearly with co-workers and supervisors
• Reliability and passion for providing excellent finished products

Salary and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.  In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, vacation leave, sick leave, and holiday pay.
