Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Process Engineer!
As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving technical support and process development within a high-performance manufacturing environment. You will lead initiatives to scale up processes, improve yield and quality, and optimize cost efficiency, while ensuring alignment with product design and operational standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee technical support and process development engineering activities in a designated manufacturing area.
Plan and implement process improvements to enhance capacity, yield, and product quality.
Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
Define equipment specifications and ensure operational compatibility with manufacturing systems.
Analyze complex technical issues using data-driven approaches and current business trends.
Provide guidance to team members to meet project timelines and resolve technical challenges.
Develop and manage project schedules and performance metrics; may contribute to budget planning.
Support sub-projects related to inspection modules and metrology equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Up to 3 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing support.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve process issues on manufacturing equipment.
Proficiency in root cause analysis and Pareto techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience with statistical process control and data analysis tools.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of module performance.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
Skills and Abilities
Strong foundation in process engineering principles and manufacturing systems.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience applying statistical methods.
Proficiency in technical tools such as Microsoft Office and manufacturing software.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
