Entry-Level Operator**
**Job Description**

**Responsibilities**
+ Operate sintering furnaces to process powdered metal parts according to production schedules.
+ Monitor furnace temperature, atmosphere, and cycle times to ensure optimal sintering conditions.
+ Load and unload parts from sintering trays and conveyors with attention to part orientation and spacing.
+ Inspect sintered parts for quality, including checking for warping, discoloration, or structural defects.
+ Record process data and maintain accurate production logs.
+ Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of sintering equipment.
+ Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE in high-temperature environments.
+ Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to troubleshoot and improve sintering processes.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.

+ CNC machine operation
+ Ability to read blueprints
+ Experience with powdered metal
+ General labor skills
+ Lathe and machine operating skills
+ Proficiency with calipers and micrometers
+ Inspection and hand tool skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DuBois, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
