Job Title: Assembly Line Worker
Job Description
This role involves working on a fast-paced assembly line to build small to mid-sized snow blowers and lawn mowers in a collaborative team environment. You will assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools, follow standard work instructions, and learn through a combination of structured orientation and on-the-job training. Success in this position requires comfort with manufacturing environments, meeting production deadlines, and maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.
2nd Shift $24 an hour and 1st Shift $20 an hour
Responsibilities
Work as part of an assembly team to build small to mid-sized snow blowers and lawn mowers according to standard work instructions.
Gather, inspect, and prepare components such as frames, gearboxes, handles, augers, wheels, and engine mounts before assembly.
Use hand tools, power tools, and torque equipment to assemble auger housings for snow blowers, deck assemblies for lawn mowers, and handlebar and control systems.
Perform quality checks to verify alignment, torque specifications, and overall fit to ensure assemblies meet established standards.
Follow documented procedures and maintain accurate records of completed assemblies and production tasks.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of tools and equipment.
Meet daily and weekly production targets while maintaining accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in a three-day orientation and ongoing on-the-job training to continuously improve assembly speed and technique.
Collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to resolve issues, support workflow, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform repetitive tasks involving manual assembly, positioning parts, and fine manipulation while maintaining focus and consistency.
Lift and move components up to 35 lbs frequently and perform bending, twisting, and lifting at waist level as required by the assembly process.
Essential Skills
Ability to stand and/or walk continuously for 810 hours during a shift.
Manual dexterity to position parts accurately, perform fine manipulation, and handle repetitive motions.
Capability to bend, twist, and lift at waist level as part of regular assembly tasks.
Ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs as part of handling and assembling components.
Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment without becoming overly stressed by deadlines.
Willingness and ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols consistently.
Reliability and strong work ethic to meet production targets and maintain consistent attendance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior assembly or mechanical assembly experience is preferred but not required.
Experience reading or working with blueprints is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with hand and power tools is preferred but not required.
Experience in shop class, woodworking, or similar hands-on projects is beneficial.
Experience assembling furniture or completing home projects independently is a plus.
Interest in learning manufacturing processes and improving assembly speed and accuracy over time.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.

Work Environment
This position is based on a fast-paced manufacturing floor with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and efficiency. The standard schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM, offering a four-day workweek. Work involves repetitive assembly tasks with opportunities for cross-training on different stations and processes. The environment focuses on continuous improvement, collaboration with coworkers and supervisors, and adherence to established safety and quality standards.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $45760.00/yr.
Full benefits - PTO, health, vision, and dental. 401 K thru the company as well.
