Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for consistently producing quality and efficient products through precise machine operations. You will work with engineered drawings, perform machine setups, and maintain tight tolerances while upholding our commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review shop order packets and follow procedural instructions to execute production tasks

• Perform and assist with machine setups independently

• Check dimensions of parts and maintain tolerance of plus or minus .001

• Read and interpret work orders and engineered drawing requirements accurately

• Utilize various inspection gauges including calipers and micrometers to ensure quality standards

• Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes

• Maintain compliance with all Quality Systems Manual requirements, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions

• Adhere to all safety rules, HSE policies, and company standards at all times

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and issues

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for health, safety, security, and environmental protection

• Complete all necessary training to enhance knowledge, skills, and experience

• Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills / Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and engineered drawings

• Proficiency in making machine setups

• Strong working knowledge of calipers and micrometers

• Capability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions

• Problem-solving skills to address issues involving variables in standardized situations

• Certified to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes

• Commitment to ethical behavior and adherence to company standards
