Job Title: Press Operator
Job Description
As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating press machines, which includes loading and unloading parts, conducting quality inspections, and performing minor preventive maintenance on the machinery. The role requires the use of precision measuring tools such as calipers and gauges, and involves working from blueprints.
Responsibilities

Work from and interpret blueprints.
Essential Skills
Experience in press machine operation.

Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with punch press operations.
Basic wrenching skills.

Work Environment
The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 2-10pm. Overtime is voluntary, allowing for the option to work 12-hour days and weekends. The plant employs 270 people and requires personal protective equipment, including hearing and eye protection, and steel toes or nonslip safety shoes. The environment can be louder and may get hot during the summer months.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.53 - $26.35/hr.
