Shipper/Receiver Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a dedicated Shipper/Receiver Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Shipper/Receiver Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the shipping and receiving department supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipper/Receiver Forklift Operator

Location: Maxville, FL

Pay Range: starting at $22

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certification
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions to load and unload materials
• Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure accurate and safe loading/unloading
• Identify and locate products in the yard or warehouse using signs and pick lists
• Utilize FIFO system to accurately pull pallets for loading and guide truck drivers for safe operations

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass forklift certification training and test
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends if necessary
