We are hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our custom fabrication shop in Birmingham! If you want a vital, highly recognized role keeping advanced heavy machinery running smoothly alongside a dynamic production team, this is the spot for you.

WHAT WE OFFER

Pay Rate: $27.00 to $31.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Stable 1st Shift hours with an early Friday finish! Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

THE WORK

You will keep our shop running by troubleshooting and repairing advanced machinery, from massive 900-ton brake presses to CNC plasma cutters. You'll tackle complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic breakdowns to rapidly restore production. You will also handle routine preventive maintenance, manage spare parts, and help install new equipment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Core Skills: Deep expertise diagnosing fluid power and electrical systems, high attention to detail, and the ability to read technical blueprints and schematics.

Experience (Required): 35 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a fabrication or heavy manufacturing environment. Trade school certification or CNC repair experience is a huge plus.
