We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated CNC Plasma Operator to join our custom fabrication shop in Birmingham! If you want a job where you are trusted to run your own station without someone constantly looking over your shoulder, this is the spot for you.

WHAT WE OFFER

Pay Rate: $20.00 to $24.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Stable 2nd Shift hours with your weekends starting early! Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

THE WORK

Take full ownership of our CNC plasma cutting tables. You will use overhead cranes and forklifts to safely load and unload heavy steel plate, review fabrication blueprints, and verify programs to ensure dead-on accuracy. You will also organize plates and material drops to keep your workstation running efficiently, handle daily routine machine maintenance, and keep a clean, safe workspace.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Core Skills: Ability to rapidly read a tape measure and handle basic shop math like adding, subtracting, and converting fractions and decimals.

Experience (Preferred): 1+ years running a CNC plasma table, reading technical blueprints, or operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
