Volt is immediately hiring for Warehouse Associate in Glendale Hts, IL.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

  • Support daily warehouse operations in a customer-facing, non-distribution environment.
  • Use manual order picking, attention to detail, and the ability to assist walk in customers.
  • Pulling mixed size orders by hand, stock product, and ensure materials are accurately received, stored, and staged.
  • Accurately pull, verify, and stage orders by part number and bin location.
  • Assist customers at the will call counter, including locating items and loading orders into customer vehicles.
  • Receive inbound material, verify shipments, and place items into correct warehouse locations.
  • Prepare and process outbound UPS and LTL shipments.
  • Operate an order picker at heights up to 20 feet.
  • Support general warehouse functions including stocking, inventory accuracy, and material handling.

This is a full-time contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1 year of warehouse experience
  • Experience manually pulling orders using hands, carts, ladders, or order pickers.
  • Experience assisting customers in a face-to-face environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Forklift or Order Picker experience.
  • Experience in receiving, stocking, and inventory management.

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
