General Labor with UPS Functions/ Material Handler- 1st Shift

A Luggage Manufacturer of professional cases and a wide range of suitcases for businesses seeking General Labor with UPS Functions- Material Handler with 2+ years experiences.

SUMMARY:
Person must have knowledge of the UPS Functions and know how to use UPS World Ship and will also handle the Material Handler role. Person must be physically fit and lift up to 50-80 lbs. due to handling thick and heavy materials.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unpack material, pack finished product and stack materials
Move material and/or finished product in the warehouse
Performing other general labor functions for production
Receive and process material orders daily, including accepting deliveries, labeling them and distributing packages and letters
internally
Process deliveries to customers, including boxing goods, addressing packages
Maintain the stockroom by cleaning, organizing and labeling items in storage on a regular basis
Place merchandise in the warehouse by boxing and lifting items as necessary
Operating standard sit-down forklift and pallet jack for larger items
Move material and/or finished product in the warehouse

QUALIFICATIONS:
Good basic computer skills and UPS World Ship
Read, write & communicate in English
Physically fit: Stand, bend, reach and lifting up to 60lbs
Must be able to remain in a stationary position over 50% of the time
Understand verbal instructions
Maintain a Professional Attitude at work
Count/organizational skills and understand verbal instructions
Maintain a professional attitude at all times

WORK SCHEDULE:
1st Shift: Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (NO WEEKEND)

PASS PRE-PLACEMENT SCREENING: E-Verify, Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check
LONG TERM WITH FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY AFTER 720 WORKED HOURS

PAY RATE: $ 17.00 Pay Rate
Pay rate will increase after terms are completed with good attendance and good work performance
