Job Summary
Independently performs preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation.
Essential Job Functions*
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Replace motors, drives, sensors, and other components.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Support equipment startups and validations after maintenance.
- Document completed work in the CMMS system.
- Identify recurring failures and improvement opportunities.
- Support downtime reduction initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of maintenance, industrial, or related experience.
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Skill in diagnosing and repairing equipment failures using systematic troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and schedules.
- Ability to perform maintenance work safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ability to document maintenance activities accurately using a computerized maintenance management system.
- Ability to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks in support of production demands.

Work Environment
Packaging - Material Handler: Self-paced, 8 hr shifts. May be exposed to fumes, loud noises, and extreme temperatures infrequently. Functional near, far and peripheral vision and functional hearing required.
Physical Demands
Packaging - Material Handler: Heavy, lifting up to 85 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 280 lbs.
