Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Salary Range: $ 65 to $70 Hr. Introduction

The selected candidate will lead and support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. The candidate will assist in the identification of tooling requirements and processing tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. The team member will be responsible for assisting in the investigation and resolution of manufacturing-related issues. This position will be 100% onsite in San Antonio, TX.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar Engineering degree.
  • 9 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in an Electrical Manufacturing Engineering role.
  • Experience in wire bundle fabrication concepts, wiring installation, electrical equipment installation, or installation of wiring provisions.
  • 3 years of experience leading a team in a formal and/or informal role.
  • Experience leading or managing a cross-functional project.
  • Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial or military airplane maintenance and/or modification.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting of commercial aircraft Avionics and Electrical systems.
  • Experience using Electrical Design Automation (EDA) Tools such as OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, Altium, or PSPICE to perform schematic capture, PB design/layout, and circuit simulation.
  • Experience working with WIRS software.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
  • Lead collaboration and integration across the affected commodities.
  • Responsible for integrating changes to the affected commodities and executing the Build Integration milestones.
  • Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigate alternative solutions to meet producibility requirements.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
  • Investigates and resolves manufacturing-related issues that come up during manufacturing activities.
  • Create installation planning and support installation planning shipside in San Antonio.
  • Support team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projects.
  • May be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs and deadlines.
  • Resolves complex technical problems.
  • Provides guidance to others through structured mentoring.
