You will be the Material Expediter (Level 1) for the Production, Planning and Control organization. Our team is responsible for scheduling and expediting part movement, coordinating interdepartmental activity, and ensuring timely delivery to support manufacturing.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Material Expediter (Level 1) you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials across the production network.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Schedule and expedite move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests.
- Coordinate with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and contracts administration.
- Communicate with all production sites and vendor locations, including travel as needed.
- Provide afterhours support to meet production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of material status and resolve bottlenecks.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college ina related discipline, or equivalent
experience/combined education. Entry level.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of
computer systems, databases, and programs
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem
solving, and multitasking skills- Inventory Control and material handling
knowledge
- Experience with material requirements and
Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
- Black Belt trained / certified
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and
parts lists
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory
Management (CPIM) certification
- SAP experience
