Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will
Support production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
Perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.
Facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to production planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
Experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations will be beneficial to success. Must have 5+ years of prior experience in manufacturing, operations, scheduling and or logistics.
Experience using ERP systems
Experience utilizing Excel to interpret data and drive action
Experience using a scheduling tool such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Oracle, Primavera, etc.
Experience with production scheduling, capacity and critical path analysis, and material control in a manufacturing/operations/logistics environment.
Experience developing and leading projects
Experience presenting to executive leadership
Experience with MS Office Suite
Due to work location requirements and programs being supported, U.S. citizenship is required Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing operations.
Experience managing material masters, BOMs, EOQs and network requirements for manufacturability
Gather relevant information systematically, consider a broad range of issues or factors; grasp complexities and perceives relationships among problems or issues
Knowledge of formal problem solving methodologies, and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Ability to build and maintain a strong network or utilize their knowledge or experiences to influence solutions that benefits business partners
Analytical skills to establish, maintain and interpret key metrics to drive manufacturing processes
Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve material and scheduling challenges
Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
