Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industrial sector, is seeking a Production Assembler to join their team. As a Production Assembler, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting manufacturing and assembly processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Assembler
Location: Jamaica, NY
Pay Range: $17 - 18/hr
Shift: 1st Shift - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Follow verbal instructions in the assembly of mirror components, arms, and harnesses for fleet vehicles and trucks.
- Communicate to team lead or supervisor when components are damaged or unusable.
- Work independently and as part of an assembly team to meet production goals.
- Reference engineering drawings and follow detailed assembly instructions.
- Use quality checklists to ensure products meet company standards and record labor hours using software (Epicor).
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
