Perforex Machine Operator

Join Design Ready Controls as a CNC Perforex Operator and help produce precision enclosures and back panels that power our customers equipment. Youll work with advanced machinery, partner closely with engineering, and play a key role in turning designs into real product on the floor.

This is a 1st shift position. 1st shift hours are Monday- Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What Youll Do

• Operate the Perforex to modify enclosures and back panels for production.
• Locate and run the correct program numbers from job folders.
• Change out machine tools (cutting bits, etc.) correctly and safely.
• Deburr panels after machining and inspect for damage, initiating the MRB process when needed.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on the Perforex.
• Safely load and unload enclosures and back panels.
• Work on prototype panels with direct assistance from Engineering.
• Use bills of materials, assembly drawings/instructions, and DFX/2D drawings to complete work accurately.
• Maintain a safe, organized, efficient, 5S-focused work area and support lean/continuous improvement.
• Assist in other manufacturing areas as needed and help promote a strong customer-focus across the team.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year machining/technical degree preferred .
• Experience with CNC machining and/or programming is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; able to spot design issues or incompatible applications.
• High mechanical aptitude and willingness to suggest improvements.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings .
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Good math skills and demonstrated computer skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate well with others.
• Lift 5085 lbs occasionally (with assistance/lift tables).

• Competitive Hourly Pay: $24.00-$26.00 DOE
