We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator with strong knowledge of Amada press brake machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Amada CNC press brakes to produce high-quality sheet metal components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and production schedules. This position requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate Amada CNC press brake machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and technical specifications.
  • Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine parameters for each job.
  • Perform machine setups, including tool changes and material adjustments.
  • Utilize Amada programming software and machine controls to create and modify programs.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and height gauges.
  • Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machine issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain production records, setup sheets, and quality documentation.
  • Follow preventive maintenance procedures and report equipment issues.
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve efficiency and product quality.
