Responsibilities

There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes to keep our Stores stocked and ready to serve customers. H E B's manufacturing, warehousing, and transportation (MW&T) divisions support each of our retail locations. Our W&T Supply Chain Team innovates and executes to optimize source [1] to-shelf operations by analyzing supply chain processes and systems while providing current, reliable supply chain data, analysis, and technical information.

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will develop processes, tools, reports, and provide data analytics to support H-E-B’s supply chain strategic initiatives such as supply and demand forecasting, inventory planning, logistics, and cost optimization.

We are looking for:

− A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain related field

− Advanced analytical and project management skills

− 5+ years’ experience

What is the work?

Analytics

− Independently identifies, documents, analyzes, implements, and communicates solutions to meet the needs of the business\

− Defines and documents the current and future operational scenarios and work with other business areas and client groups to translate moderately complex business needs into solutions and/or business requirements

− Analyzes probable impact of recommendations and solutions on other business areas and client groups.

− Contributes to the cost/benefit analysis, design, and implementation of supply chain models for projects

− Provides support and resources for ad [1] hoc analysis requests, tools, development, and process improvement projects

− Identifies issues and gaps within current business processes and develops solutions which drive continuous improvement in the functional area

Project Management

− Manages medium to large complexity projects that may encompass technologies, facilities, processes, materials, handling systems, or other business initiatives

− Ensures the project is on schedule, high quality, within determined budget, meets departmental scorecard, and creates business value

− Contributes to project efforts/status including developing project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and coordinating logistical team

- Proactively develops project management tools for Supply Chain

− Supports/delivers training and education services to teams & resources

− May lead, in conjunction with project teams, the delivery of processes, systems, processes, metrics and/or services in the agreed upon time frames

− Maintains client/stakeholder partnerships to ensure overall satisfaction

What is your background?

− Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Computer Science, Information Management Systems or related field or relevant business/technical experience

− 5+ years’ experience

− Advanced experience developing and documenting processes, solutions and tools

- Experience serving as a subject matter expert for an application or technical domain.

- Desire to develop in a more technical capacity for the next 5+ years.

− Advanced proficiency organizing and documenting work – Jira and Confluence.

− Experience developing data models or reporting using BI tools like Cognos Analytics or Tableau.

− Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and organization skills.

−Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

− Ability to manage changing priorities and shift focus between work.

− Ability to work complex issues and articulate for non-technical audiences.

− Demonstrates initiative and willingness to take risks

− Advanced negotiation and influencing skills.
