Job Title: Industrial Assembler
Job Description
This role involves working in a clean, modern manufacturing shop for 50+ hours per week, starting at 5:00 AM, assembling industrial systems and related control panels from start to finish. You will rotate through various departments to learn the full assembly and build process, applying your mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and ability to read a tape measure to perform precise, hands-on work. Your specific department placement will depend on your existing skills, technical training, or trade experience, with opportunities to grow and advance as you master new tasks.
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and perform handson mechanical assembly work.
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately for precise measurements.
Capability to perform repetitive labor duties while standing for the entire shift.
Willingness and aptitude to train on the job and learn new skills in multiple assembly departments.
Desire to advance in the role and take initiative in learning and improving processes.
Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting fractions for measurement and cutting tasks.
Experience using power tools, saws, hand tools, and screw guns in a shop or manufacturing environment.
Ability to work safely with materials and components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
Preferred prior shop and/or manufacturing experience, especially in heavy industrial manufacturing plants, or completion of relevant technical schooling or training.
Ability to interpret and follow drawings, diagrams, and pictures for mechanical and electrical assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, or pipefitting, particularly in measuring, cutting, bending, and threading pipe.
Background in automotive mechanics or metal fabrication.
Experience in carpentry, masonry, or other skilled trades that demonstrate strong mechanical ability.
Exposure to industrial painting, sandblasting, powder coating, or similar industrial processes.
Experience in panel building, wire assembly, and general fabrication work.
Brazing experience, or willingness to learn brazing on the job.
Soldering experience, or willingness to learn soldering on the job.
Comfort working with control panels, wire harnesses, and pointtopoint wiring following diagrams and instructions.

Work Environment
The role is based in a stateoftheart, fastpaced manufacturing facility with roughly 200 employees in the manufacturing department. The shop is clean and temperature controlled, providing a comfortable and organized workspace. Work hours typically total 50+ hours per week with a 5:00 AM start time, and the position requires standing for the entire shift and performing repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail. You will work around modern manufacturing equipment, including hand tools, power tools, saws, screw guns, forklifts, and other materialhandling machines, as well as technologies used for panel building, wire assembly, fabrication, and subsystem assembly. The environment supports localized manufacturing, engineering, service, and support for products used globally, with a strong emphasis on technology transfer and standardized processes. The dress code requires work boots and practical work attire such as work pants or jeans; work shirts are provided after a few weeks on the job.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
