Shift of the Vertical Mill Machinist: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm Training on 1st shift 6:30am-2:30pm Pay Rate/Salary of the Vertical Mill Machinist: $29-$34.56 per hour No shift differential Responsibilities of the Vertical Mill Machinist: Edit and occasionally create CNC programs. Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines based on detailed blueprints. Perform machining operations to specific tolerances. Check dimensions on finished parts using precision measuring instruments. Devise new tools and fixtures for unusual operations. Qualifications of the Vertical Mill Machinist: Skilled in setup and operation of Haas vertical machining centers. Experience with editing and programming CNC machines. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
