A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As Assembler 2, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Make set-ups and adjustments, holding tolerances to written instructions and established drawings. May be responsible for testing equipment and products. In this role, you will report to the Supervisor of Manufacturing and Operations.

We are looking for an exceptional Assembler 1 who can:

  • Perform a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations
  • Leak test assemblies
  • Inspect parts and assemblies for appearance and cleanliness
  • Perform a variety of other repetitive tasks
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills You Bring:

What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:

  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • 2-5 Years Assembly experience
  • Ability to work from written instructions and established drawings
  • Able to work with a variety of hand tools
  • Must be able to work with a minimal amount of supervision

Preferred Skills: (Optional)

  • Proficiency in Oracle and Lean manufacturing preferred
  • Highly motivated and able to function in a team-oriented manufacturing environment

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
  • Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for 30% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information
  • The ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay Range: $16.70 - 27.83 USD Hourly. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
