Job Title: Machine Operator

Pay: $22/hr - $25/hr!

Job Description

This role involves operating production machinery to manufacture sticker labels for packages, ensuring high-quality output, consistent production flow, and accurate packaging of finished products. You will support the printing and inspection process, perform mechanical troubleshooting, and contribute to a clean, efficient, and safe production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery to manufacture sticker labels for packages according to established specifications and quality standards.

  • Perform general production and machine operator tasks to support continuous workflow on the production floor.

  • Conduct rewind and inspection work off presses to verify product quality and identify any defects or inconsistencies.

  • Monitor machines during operation, identify mechanical issues, and troubleshoot basic problems to minimize downtime.

  • Adjust machine settings and perform minor mechanical adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance.

  • Package finished products accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling, counts, and presentation for shipment.

  • Follow production schedules and instructions to meet daily output and quality goals.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and surrounding production space.

  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while working with production and printing equipment.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to communicate issues, share updates, and support a smooth production process.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2 years of machine operator experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in operating production machinery and equipment.

  • Experience with general production and machine operating tasks.

  • Ability to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting on machines when issues arise.

  • Familiarity with printing or label production processes.

  • Ability to perform rewind and inspection work off presses with attention to detail.

  • Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and consistency in production work.

  • Capability to follow written and verbal instructions and production schedules.

  • Willingness and ability to work assigned shifts, including training on 1st shift and transitioning to other shifts as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a general labor role within a manufacturing or printing environment.

  • Comfort working with printing equipment and related production tools.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a production setting.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.

  • Reliability and punctuality to support consistent shift coverage and production output.

Work Environment

This role is based in a climate-controlled, brand new facility that is very clean and well lit, providing a comfortable and safe production environment. The position operates on a three-shift schedule: 1st shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 2nd shift runs from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and 3rd shift runs from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Candidates assigned to off shifts will train on 1st shift for approximately one month before transitioning to their regular schedule. The work involves operating production and printing machinery, performing inspection tasks, and packaging finished products on the production floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
