YOUR TASKS

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality, as well as cost efficiency.
  • Oversee the design, purchase, and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
  • Assess the manufacturability of new product designs and propose improved processes.
  • Ensure that all manufacturing equipment and tools are maintained and functioning optimally.
  • Coordinate with other engineering teams to ensure integrated and effective design outputs and processes.
  • Monitor and improve scrap rates and develop strategies to reduce waste.
  • Assist in improving facility safety and quality goals.
  • Conduct detailed studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow.
  • Understand and apply principles of lean manufacturing and just-in-time inventory management.
  • Evaluate production and determine ways to improve efficiency of the production lines, including reducing reject rates and downtime.
  • Work with safety teams to ensure the health and safety standards and requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with quality control management to ensure the delivery of high quality products.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Starting Salary Range: $66,000-$78,000 (can be negotiable depending on experience)
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferred in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and production concepts such as workflow, assembly methods, and production equipment.
  • Excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to project manage, multitask and prioritize.
