Job Title: Production Operator 1

Shift-1st shift--6:00 am to 2:30 pm (40 hrs. per week with possibility of OT ) Pay rate -$18.38/hr

Shift: 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm (with possibility of OT) Pay rate: $20.21/hr

Contract: 12 months with possibility of extension

Description:  Make a note:---It is better if we narrow people with hands on experience in assembly. The Buffalo Grove site has agreed to cover the fees for safety shoes required for their Light Industrial (Material Handler—Production Coordinator) positions after working 30 days. The max amount is $150.00. The receipt can be submitted against the work order once the worker starts as an Expense Report. Again, a receipt is required upon submissions into Fieldglass once the worker begins.

KEY DETAILS We are looking for someone who has some building experience Need Dependable Transportation We need someone that can also lift up to 25lbs, Be ab le to work on their feet, Can work by themselves or with others. Good Attitude Follows Directions and open to change Can work with their hands (Previous manufacturing, Food Service, working on cars, ect…) Worked in a fast-paced environment. Can Learn Quickly and repeat what was learned. Good attendance.

I. Basic Function Performs assembly, test and packaging of electronic and mechanical products to prescribed quality and production standards and in accordance with ISO procedures.

II. Essential Duties Manufactures products using visual aids, written and verbal work instructions and procedures. Moves parts and materials as needed to maintain an orderly material flow. Rotates between operations within a work cell as well as between departments. Prepares work cell and/or department records. Notifies appropriate personnel if process/method is out of compliance. I

Skills & Abilities High School Diploma or GED __ Experience in ____ Ability to function and contribute in a team environment. Ability to sit, stand, bend, push, pull or a combination of all movement types as required by and for the duration of the job assignment. Capability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.), electric and pneumatic power tools and in-house developed product specific tooling/fixtures and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
