$25+/Hr. Maintenance Lead Associate Needed (Montebello, CA)

We are a pillow manufacturing company seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting production machinery, replacing defective parts, and fabricating parts as needed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to the efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing corrective maintenance on pillow production machines and parts, following diagrams, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer instructions, and technical specifications.
Diagnose malfunctions and pinpoint the source of problems by observing the operation of mechanical devices, detecting potential issues, and testing components.
Remove defective parts by disassembling devices and replacing them with new or reconditioned parts.
Fabricate repair parts using workshop instrumentation and equipment.
Assist in planning preventive maintenance for machinery.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to established procedures, standards, and regulations.

Requirements:
Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems; chains and sprockets; air compressors; and PLCs; engineering experience (preferred).
Ability to lift and carry 22 to 32 kg (48 to 70 lbs).
2 to 3 years of experience as an industrial mechanic or in a maintenance role.
Knowledge of OSHA standards.
Lockout/Tagout protocols.

Schedule and Salary:
Starting Salary: $25/hour (based on experience).
Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
