Job Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and day-to-day operations of the facility. Ensures safety, production, quality, and workforce objectives are achieved while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Partners with HR and leadership to support employee relations, staffing, and development while driving operational excellence. Partners with EHS and CI departments to drive Safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Promote a strong safety culture and positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and employment laws.
  • Drive accountability for site performance including productivity, efficiency, and cost control.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and develop supervisors and plant personnel.
  • Lead the recruiting, hiring, training, and workforce planning process.
  • Manage employee relations including performance, coaching, engagement, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding process.
  • Oversee training needs and support employee development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Supervise and support production supervisors and plant floor teams in achieving performance goals.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred. 7–10 years manufacturing/operations experience with leadership responsibility. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a plant environment. Based on job description, the role will either use standard office equipment or equipment as specified on the plant floor to produce the products for the company. Please see supervisor on specific work hours required to support business operations. For some roles, standard operation hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach with hands and arms during shifts; handle, or feel objects, manufacturing physical tools or controls; climb up and down stairs; balance; effective verbal communication; the ability to respond quickly to sounds and instructions . Lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds regularly and those weighing up to 40 pounds occasionally.
