What’s a typical day as a CNC Machinist – Large Parts? You’ll be:


    	

  • Setting up and operating CNC machines for large part machining

    	

  • Performing quality checks on weldments and machined components

    	

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, programs, and machining specifications (including G & M codes)

    	

  • Making offset adjustments, zero-point shifts, and tool wear corrections as needed

    	

  • Using precision measuring tools (gauges, micrometers, etc.) to inspect parts

    	

  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas to company standards

    	

  • Following all safety procedures and production standards

    	

  • Documenting machining processes and production activity

    	

  • Collaborating and communicating with team members for efficient workflow

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:


    	

  • Have at least 4 years of CNC machining experience, especially with large parts

    	

  • Can read and interpret complex CNC programs, including G & M codes

    	

  • Are skilled at reading advanced blueprints and drawings

    	

  • Have experience using precision measuring tools for quality inspection

    	

  • Can make offsets, zero-point shifts, and machine adjustments as required

    	

  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (technical training or education is a plus)

    	

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
