Position Summary Randstad is partnering with a premier, global manufacturer of highly engineered food processing equipment to locate a skilled Fabricator / Press Brake Operator for a regular, full-time, non-exempt role in Riverside, MO.

In this role, you will use advanced fabricating techniques to build precision stainless steel machinery. If you take pride in expert workmanship and want a modern schedule, this team is the perfect place to build your career.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Press Brake Operation: Properly and safely operate a variety of manufacturing press brakes to bend precision components.
  • CNC Programming: Download program files or program the press brake at the controller using tonnage or angle mode.
  • Tooling Setup: Identify, retrieve, and install the required punches and dies based on bend radius and material thickness.
  • Blueprint Fluency: Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to successfully execute layout steps.
  • Quality Assurance: Apply fabrication mathematics and use calipers, tape measures, squares, and protractors to verify dimensions.
What You Bring
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional metal fabrication experience; CNC experience is required.
  • Technical Layout Skills: strong ability to interpret blueprints and work with precision measuring devices.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and frequently lift or move up to 60 lbs.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends when production demands require.
  • Verifications: Ability to pass a weld test, background check, drug screen, physical, and agility test prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Press Brake Operation: Properly and safely operate a variety of manufacturing press brakes to bend precision components.

  • CNC Programming: Download program files or directly program the press brake at the controller using tonnage mode, angle mode, or absolute positioning.

  • Tooling Setup: Evaluate material thickness and bend radii to identify, retrieve, and install the correct punches and dies.

  • Blueprint Fluency: Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical designs to successfully execute layout steps.

  • Quality Assurance: Apply fabrication mathematics and use tape measures, calipers, machinist squares, and protractors to verify exact dimensions.
