Adecco is currently seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our client's growing team. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a hands-on warehouse environment, is comfortable operating equipment, and can adapt to a variety of daily responsibilities. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail and a willingness to support all aspects of warehouse operations.

Job Summary

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, inventory management, order processing, and forklift operations. This role requires flexibility, as employees work collaboratively and share responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations. Because this is a smaller warehouse environment, team members are expected to assist wherever needed and contribute to overall operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move, stage, load, and unload materials.

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory and shipments.

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.

• Enter order information into computer systems accurately and efficiently.

• Generate and print shipping labels, pick tickets, and related documentation.

• Verify order accuracy and ensure shipments are processed according to customer requirements.

• Maintain organized inventory locations and assist with stock management.

• Support shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks.

• Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and organization.

• Work collaboratively with coworkers to complete daily operational tasks.

• Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift.

• Basic computer skills, including data entry and document printing.

• Ability to read and process pick tickets, shipping documents, and labels.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Preferred:

• Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems.

• Prior experience in shipping and receiving operations.

• Forklift certification (or ability to become certified).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

• Comfortable operating warehouse equipment and performing physical tasks.
