Spartan Surfaces is looking for a dependable, experienced, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate for our Sparrows Point, MD facility to support our day-to-day warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to work safely, move with urgency, stay organized, and take pride in doing the job right the first time.

The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and has hands-on reach truck experience . This role requires someone who is reliable, safety-minded, team-oriented, and able to keep materials moving accurately and efficiently.

This is not a sit-back-and-watch role. We are looking for someone who is ready to show up, work hard, stay focused, and be part of a team that takes pride in getting things done.

As a Warehouse Associate, youll play an important role in keeping our warehouse organized, safe, and running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

• Receive, inspect, and put away incoming shipments accurately and efficiently
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup
• Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure products are stored in the correct locations
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks, and product organization
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe throughout the day
• Follow all company procedures, warehouse processes, and safety guidelines
• Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and other departments
• Work with urgency while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Support daily warehouse goals and step in where needed

We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

• Prior warehouse experience is required
• Reach truck experience is required
• Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to pick, pack, and stage orders accurately
• A solid work ethic and the ability to stay productive throughout the day
• Dependable attendance and punctuality this is non-negotiable
• Ability to follow directions, ask questions when needed, and take accountability
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven warehouse environment
• Strong problem-solving skills when handling inventory, shipping, or receiving issues
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper equipment use
• Must be able to pass a background check, subject to applicable law

This is an active warehouse role. Candidates must be able to:

• Stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move throughout the shift
• Regularly lift and move 1050 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and move up to 80 lbs.
• Work safely around warehouse equipment, flooring materials, pallets, and trucks
• Perform hands-on warehouse tasks in a busy operational environment
