Your Role:

At EMD Electronics, as a Production Supervisor, you will be supervising plant operations. In this role you will have a strong focus on safety. Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage multiple manufacturing operations and 30-35 employees on a rotating schedule.
  • Promote safety in the workplace and investigate safety related issues.
  • Ensure manufacturing teams follow written procedures.
  • Create daily reports for managerial review.
  • Manage union team overtime and vacation scheduling.
  • Implement and document disciplinary action for failure to follow safety, manufacturing, and quality standards.
  • Act as Incident Commander in a facility emergency.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) and cost savings initiatives.
  • Support Maintenance with off-shift prioritization and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Support Transportation Planning, and Supply Chain by inspecting bulk fleet, SAP data entry, and ensuring on time delivery.
  • Support stable operations, quality initiatives, and investigate quality complaints.
  • 12-hour shifts with a 15-30 minute shift change, rotating between days/nights every 2 weeks on a 2-on/2-off/3-on (F-Sa-Su) schedule.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years' experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ years' experience using Microsoft products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • Chemical manufacturing experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Incident Command structure understanding and experience.
  • Proficiency in Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's).
  • Experience in developing procedures and a management of change process.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Understand ISO Quality and EHS requirements.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safe work practices.

Pay Range for this position - $88,900 - $133,400

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
