Experienced Manual Metal Lathe Operator

Skilled machinist who sets up, calibrates, and operates manually controlled machines to cut, drill, thread, and shape raw metal into precision components.
-Calibrating gears, selecting appropriate tooling, and securing workpieces in chucks or collets.
-Controlling the feed rate, depth of cut, and spindle speed to achieve exact tolerances.
-Interpreting engineering schematics and using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to inspect parts against specified tolerances.
-FT M-F 7:30-4:00.
