The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily quality assurance and quality control operations to ensure products meet established standards, specifications, and customer expectations. This role supervises quality staff, enforces compliance with regulatory requirements, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of quality control inspectors and technicians
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and documentation
Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of materials, processes, and finished products
Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Review and analyze quality data, preparing reports and recommendations for management
Train and mentor quality team members on inspection techniques, safety, and quality requirements
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve processes and reduce defects
Manage calibration of inspection and testing equipment
Support internal and external audits
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Must Have
Bachelors degree in quality management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
35+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, with supervisory experience preferred
Strong understanding of quality standards, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, SPC)
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the industry
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Proficiency in quality software and Microsoft Office applications

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $83431k -$104289k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
