We are currently looking for Machine Operors and Printing Assistants/Support to join our team, experience is not required but always a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Operes a number of machines to help cree labels and flexible packaging.
• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective merial and splices the roll web back together per the specificion.
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used other times as necessary).
• Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.
• Must understand basic printing and seam reled defects.
• Attains and maintains all defined job objectives reled to the planning and execution of all jobs and quick changes
• Assists in the performance of all external make-ready operions in preparion for changeover activities (changing from one label job to another)
• Assists in the performance of all external clean-up activities following changeover
• Cleans ink pans and ancillary equipment
• Strips ples from cylinders
• Loces dies to and from press
• May be required to work with press operor to view labels with assistance of strobe light
• Comply with quality assurance specificions of the customer and MCC
• May be required to complete quality assurance sheet and associed documention
• Responsible for working overtime when needed and as assigned
• Reled duties as assigned
• Recording and entering da on designed paperwork as well as in the company operion system (Globetek).
• Participes in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualificions:

• Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions. Ability to perform these operions using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to use simple windows based applicions.
• Must be able regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Print shop experience helpful, but not required
• Ability to communice and interact well with others (verbally and written form); seen as a team player
• Ability to read and understand a job ticket
• Ability to read a ruler and understand measurements (able to pass a ruler test)
• Ability correctable to 20/20 (able to pass an eye test)
• Ability to differentie colors (able to pass a color test)
• Ability to input da in the computer
