Cutter Operator

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Plastic Sheet Cutter to join our manufacturing and fabrication team in Miami. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial cutting equipment to precision-cut various plastic substrates according to specific job orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in a production environment, excellent measuring skills, and a solid commitment to quality and workplace safety.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3+ years of experience operating industrial cutting or sawing equipment in a plastics, woodworking, or signage manufacturing environment.
  
  
• Technical Skills: solid mathematica l skills with the ability to accurately read fractions, decimals, and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
  
  
• Material Knowledge: Familiarity with various types of plastics and how they react to different cutting speeds and blade types.
  
  
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive lifting of materials up to 50 lbs, and work comfortably in a manufacturing plant environment.
  
  
• Traits: High attention to detail, solid work ethic, punctual, and a team-oriented mindset.
