Summary
The Paint Line Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the paint line to produce high-quality finished parts in accordance with specifications and work instructions. This role also provides support to the assembly area as needed, performing various assembly-related tasks to ensure production efficiency and continuity of workflow.
Functions
Paint Line Operations
Load and unload parts into CNC machines, specifically the paint line system.
Operate paint line equipment to process and finish parts according to job instructions.
Perform inspections of painted parts using gauges and visual checks.
Monitor and maintain appropriate chemical levels within the paint system.
Identify and report defective materials or issues to the supervisor or Quality team.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
Complete required production logs and documentation.
Verify paint quality by initialing production tickets.
Ensure proper identification and handling of parts and containers.
Assembly Support Responsibilities
Assist in the assembly of components and finished goods.
Perform basic assembly tasks such as fitting and fastening parts.
Inspect assembled products for quality and function.
Use hand tools and gauges as trained.
Sort, pack, and stage parts as needed.
Maintain part identification and labeling.
Report defects to supervisors or Quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Support team objectives as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Overtime may be required. Hours are on 1st Shift - 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
RequirementsEligibility Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of manufacturing experience preferred
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to read work instructions
Knowledge of gauging and inspection
Understanding of manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks
Tolerance for heights and tight spaces
Physical stamina for production work
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, chemicals, and temperature changes. PPE required
