Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for producing a quality product, while meeting production goals. You would be on the front-line of the business, overseeing production, tracking product yields, and making necessary adjustments. Ensuring that safety and USDA health standards are met throughout all steps of the manufacturing process. You would be a key player in upholding the trusted quality in which Branding Irons brands are known to possess.

PRIMARY ACOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for achieving productivity, efficiency, cost, quality, and safety objectives of line performance.
• Provide direct reports with leadership, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills.
• Manufacture and package products to customer specifications.
• Communicate with the maintenance department on concerns with equipment and preventative maintenance that supports production.
• Communicate with Production Manager on production needs.
• Evaluates processes and procedures for efficiency and profitability on a continual basis.
• Meet company goals for yield and productivity their department and area of responsibility
• Assure USDA and customer specifications are met
• Enjoys working the floor, being visible and coaching

Education, Experience, Skills:

• 3+ years Supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• 5 + years working in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical, trouble shooting, conflict management and problem-solving skills.
• Able to deal firmly and fairly with a diverse workforce.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• History of success.
