ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating, all plant operations. Through subordinate supervisors and managers assures production objectives are met within cost and quality standards.
Accountabilities
1. Assures that organizational production objectives are met.
2. Controls quality cost, warehousing, receiving, shipping and manufacturing throughout the plant.
3. Oversees the maintenance of all plant buildings and equipment including security and protection.
4. Participates in plant organizational and operational planning consistent with the overall organizational objectives.
5. Reviews and approves actions regarding pay, people, and costs.
6. Controls product quality from manufacturing standpoint.
7. Maintains and support prescribed programs of employee relations, health and safety, training and development, compensation and benefits for all employees in the plant.
8. Stays abreast of developments and trends in manufacturing for application in plant, recommends changes in policies and procedures as appropriate.
9. All other duties as assigned.

· Strong interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
Education/Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field and or a combination of relevant education and experience equivalent
· 7+ years of experience in manufacturing
