1st shift Machine Operator, CNC

The Machine Operator - Production Machining CNC is responsible for operating multi-purpose numerically controlled machines, measuring parts, and making necessary offset modifications to maintain quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail and a mechanical mindset to support the daily machining operations.

Pay Range: $18.04-$22.51

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload parts from machine and pack.

Operate machines by activating controls and monitoring for accuracy and performance.

Change inserts and adjust clamps as necessary.

Check the quality of the parts by observing the machine operation and inspect workpieces using micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.

Clear scrap from machine regularly and keep work area clean.

Perform other customer- or product-driven duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

6 months to 1 year of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.

High school diploma or GED required.

Essential Skills:

Blueprint reading

Machining operations

Basic mathematics

SPC (Statistical Process Control)

Proficient use of gauges, micrometers, and calipers
