Analyze and improve freight performance, warehousing efficiency, transportation costs, and outbound logistics . Conduct root-cause analysis related to shipping delays and service interruptions. Inventory & Materials Management Optimize raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels . Monitor material consumption, shelf-life constraints, shortages, and obsolescence risks . Develop and maintain safety stock models, reorder points, and inventory forecasting tools . Production Scheduling Support production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams to maintain schedule feasibility. Monitor schedule adherence, throughput, cycle times, and operational performance metrics . Procurement & Supplier Support Analyze supplier performance metrics including OTIF, lead times, and quality trends . Support sourcing and procurement planning for long-lead materials and hazardous chemicals . Assist with cost-reduction initiatives, supplier analysis, and data-driven decision-making . Data Analysis & Reporting Build and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and operational reporting tools . Utilize Excel, Power BI, ERP/MRP systems, and forecasting tools to support decision-making. Analyze large data sets and present actionable operational insights to leadership. Continuous Improvement Support Lean Manufacturing, Lean/Six Sigma, and process improvement initiatives . Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and ERP system improvements . Drive collaboration across Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Finance .
