Assembly Technician

Assembly Technician Location: Fairfield, NJ 07004 Pay: $20 - $25 Shift: Monday to Friday , 6:30am - 3pm Open to entry level or junior candidates! Responsibilities Assemble and tool new and used packaging equipment. Accurately use measuring devices such as tape measures, sound and temperature sensors. Apply shop math skills in daily tasks. Document machine assembly details, as-built specifications, and update assembly Bills of Material. Troubleshoot and center-line machines using diagnostic skills acquired from experience. Proficiently use hand drills and basic machine shop tools including lathes, milling machines, hand grinders, and more. Repair and troubleshoot pneumatic components. Read and interpret simple schematic and wiring diagrams. Perform basic tig welding as needed. Set up and change over packaging machines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Totowa, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
