WHAT YOU'LL DO Amsted Automotive Cold Forming Division is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk who will provide support to both operations and the Materials department by keeping accurate counts and reconciling SAP in order to capture inventory at the right locations at times in order to improve production planning and mitigate financial impact. Check Production Confirmation report for accuracy. Verify WIP and finished goods. Responsible for on-time error correcting. Monitor inventory locations and inventory accuracy. Provide inventory of all areas in the plant (tooling, raw, WIP, vendor and own finished goods stock rooms). Self-motivated/able to work independently. Work with lead/supervisor on cycle counting inventory, both work in progress and both vendor and inhouse stock rooms. Should possess strong organizational skills. Identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce costs and waste. Daily report out in Accountability meeting of various inventory issues or confirmations. Must have working knowledge of SAP system within the inventory management environment. Collaborate with production teams and external suppliers to investigate and validate inventory shrinkage throughout processing, ensuring accurate root cause identification Lead efforts to correct and prevent material loss, including implementing corrective actions, tracking outcomes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives Perform daily and weekly cycle counts of On-hand inventory Understand and perform IATF and ISO 14001 work instructions as found in the BN Dashboard and in adherence to BN's policy. Organize and maintain documentation control for all Bills of Lading (BOL), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and regulatory standards Address and resolve internal audit findings, including implementing corrective actions and monitoring follow-up activities Manage the process for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) goods receipts, ensuring timely and accurate system transactions and inventory updates Provide forklift operation support as needed to maintain workflow continuity, including coverage during employee absences or vacations Follow all safety rules and keep work area clean and in an orderly condition. Wear all personal protective equipment as required by the safety policy. Be responsible and accountable for the professional use of assigned work periods, machinery, equipment, and tools. Support and participate in departmental structure of self-directed work teams. Understand and perform BN Quality Policy taking pride in the products you produce. Perform other duties as assigned WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED Education: High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
