The Process Technician will support equipment and production engineers with maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming of automated systems. Responsibilities include repairing equipment, updating programs, calibrating machines, and helping to meet production and quality standards. This position plays a key role in reducing downtime and ensuring consistent product output in a cost-effective manner. Responsibilities Train and work directly with the engineering team Maintain assigned section with multiple machines and advanced automation Perform equipment calibration, daily startup checks, and minor repairs Troubleshoot equipment programs, hardware, and manufacturing processes Update equipment recipes, configuration files, and program backups Document and report any issues to supervisors or department heads Support engineering experiments and production tests Perform soldering for equipment repairs or device rework Provide backup for operators and assist with training when needed Qualifications and Requirements Education: Vocational Course Graduate or Associate Degree (Preferred) Experience: Minimum: 1 year in assembly processes and equipment Preferred: 3 years as a Process or Equipment Technician in a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with soldering, microscopes, hand tools, and measuring devices Background with automated machinery or computer programming is a plus Software / Hardware Knowledge: Medium computer skills with data entry (Excel or Access) Familiarity with at least one computer language or CAD software Skills / Abilities: Strong communication and documentation skills Excellent hand-eye coordination; ability to use a microscope Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks in a clean-room environment Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting Personal Characteristics: Detail-oriented and quality-focused Adaptable and collaborative team player Committed to workplace safety and improvement Other Requirements: Must be comfortable working in a clean-room environment and wearing clean-room garments No makeup or perfume allowed inside the clean room Benefits and Perks Pay Rate: $ 18.00-24.00 /hour Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Holidays (subject to eligibility) Training and Career Development opportunities Your New Organization Join a highly innovative, technology-driven manufacturing company based in Sugar Land, Texas.
