Production Associate Job Description This role involves safely operating and maintaining a chocolate production line in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include setting up, monitoring, troubleshooting, and shutting down equipment; handling raw materials; ensuring product quality through testing and process adjustments; and completing required documentation. The position requires physical labor such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods. Responsibilities Set up, monitor, troubleshoot, and shut down production equipment. Follow new processes and protocols. Be adaptable to work as a 'floater', learning multiple lines and positions, providing support where needed. Essential Skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Experience in production, general labor, packaging, inspection, and hand tools. Proficiency in machine start-up and operation. Forklift operation skills. Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in packing, palletizing, visual inspection, machine operating, blending, etc. Demonstrated drive for advancement within the company. Work Environment Training will be conducted on the 1st shift for 2-3 months, after which you'll transition to the 2nd shift. The 1st shift runs from 6am-2:30pm, and the 2nd shift operates from 2pm-10:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duluth, GA.
