Receiving Associate - 1st Shift Wage: $15.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm As a Receiving Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production process by accurately receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming materials. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that materials are available on time and in the right quantity to meet production schedules. Receiving Associate Responsibilities: - Receive incoming materials from suppliers or internal departments - Inspect materials for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications - Verify quantities received against purchase orders or shipping documents - Record all incoming materials in NetSuite - Properly label and store materials in designated locations - Notify appropriate personnel of any discrepancies or issues with received materials - Coordinate with purchasing and production departments to resolve any discrepancies or delays in material delivery - Maintain a clean and organized receiving area - Assist in periodic in the shipping department when lead is on PTO - Adhere to safety protocols and procedures Requirements for Receiving Associate: - Previous experience in a similar role preferred - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Ability to lift and move heavy objects - Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures - Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
