Customer Fulfillment / Logistics Coordinator Job Description A growing LED products company is seeking a Customer Fulfillment / Logistics Coordinator to manage customer orders from initial request through shipment and delivery. This role combines customer-facing communication with hands-on inventory and order fulfillment tasks. Approximately 70% of your time will focus on interacting with customers, processing orders, and coordinating shipments, while the remaining 30% will involve picking and packing small products in a warehouse setting. Responsibilities Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all details are correctly entered into the system. Communicate with customers via email and other channels to confirm order details, shipment status, and delivery information. Create shipping labels and ensure they are assigned to the correct orders and destinations. Track shipments and proactively follow up on delivery status, resolving any issues or delays that arise. Perform inventory picking and packing of small products, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging for shipment. Support inventory control and inventory management activities to maintain accurate stock levels. Collaborate closely with office and warehouse team members to coordinate order fulfillment and shipping schedules. Use computer systems, including ERP or CRM tools, to update order information, shipment tracking, and inventory records. Identify and resolve problems related to orders, shipments, or inventory discrepancies using strong analytical and communication skills. Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of order processing, documentation, and customer communication. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience with shipment processing and tracking orders. At least 1 year of experience with inventory tasks, including picking and packing. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory handling. Superior communication skills, especially in written communication for customer emails. Effective problem-solving skills to address order, shipment, and inventory issues. Proficient computer skills for working with order entry, shipment tracking, and inventory systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar platforms. Experience with CRM systems for managing customer information and communications. Experience in inventory control or inventory management processes. Comfort working in both an office and warehouse environment as needed. Ability to work a standard full-time schedule with some flexibility in start and end times as long as 8 hours are worked each day. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role operates in a blended environment, spending a portion of time in a small warehouse for picking and packing tasks and the remainder in an office setting. The office is a house-style environment where you will work closely with a small team. Standard hours are approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break, with some flexibility as long as you complete an 8-hour workday. You will use computer-based systems, including ERP or CRM tools and shipment tracking platforms, to manage orders and inventory. The warehouse area involves handling small LED products and packaging materials in a typical light industrial setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of West Dundee, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
